When I suffer in the internet, I saw news about "We incorporate advanced 'Fusion' technology (stainless steel body and sole with metal injection-molded, high-density weights) to maximize perimeter weighting for our most forgiving hybrid design ever." These words appeared on Callaway website, and these golf clubs are Callaway FT-IZ Hybrid.
The Callaway FT-iZ Hybrid provides golfers with all the distance, accuracy and versatility they could ever want from a hybrid and also boasts a larger club head design compared to previous generations of Callaway hybrids. The stainless steel body and sole are joined with strategically placed weights to maximize perimeter weighting, MOI and forgiveness. The center of gravity is positioned to help effect a higher trajectory. VFT Technology generates high ball speeds across the face for hot distance and greater consistency. The offset hostel helps square the clubface at impact and sets up at address with a look that inspires total confidence.
The typical shot is a high, straight, repeatable flight with soft landing; stable head won't twist or move — you don't have to make a perfect swing to hit good shots; FT-iZ cuts right through long grass for clean contact with little distance loss; testers concur that these are reliable performers; consistent distance and direction; slight misses perform nearly as well as center strikes, most shots hold the target line; a few panelists would consider buying the FT-iZ hybrid and dropping their 4-iron.
The Callaway FT-iZ Hybrid Main Features:
> Crown Construction: Carbon Composite
> Shaft: FT-iZ Graphite
> Forgiveness: This one is new and forgiving golf clubs by Callaway. No point talking about this one much. The 24 and 27 degree as expected where stupid easy to hit.
> Distance & Accuracy: The extra length 27 clearly goes longer. The half inch extra length didn't materially effect trajectory. The 24 degree had too much extra length. It went too high as opposed to longer. Still very easy to hit, but I made the shaft too long. The 18 degree will change your approach to the game.
> Trajectory: The YS+ Hybrid shaft clearly flattened the trajectory from the stock shaft.
This Callaway FT-iZ Hybrid has been hit in an appropriate fashion. The wear is lighter than typical for a used golf club of its age/model with no change to its original new luster. Cheap golf club sets light marks on the sole can be visible but this used golf club has been well taken care of.
