The FT-9 driver is designed to allow the golfer to easily draw, fade, or hit the ball straight. It features Hyperbolic Face Technology, Fusion Technology, OptiFit weighting system, and Visible External Web Weighting.

But today, the main product is Callaway FT Irons Set. Evolutions of the original Fusion Irons, the FT Irons are a product of Callaway Golf's innovative weight-shifting science of Fusion Technology. This set features multi-material construction that allows weight to be shifted for optimal performance. Delivering the utmost in performance and playability, these irons feature a new head shape designed to appeal to mid to low handicap players. The Tunite cradle has been optimized with the addition of Extreme Notch Weighting. An astounding 80 percent of the clubhead's weight is in the extreme perimeter for a higher MOI (moment of inertia) and enhanced stability and forgiveness.

The lightweight titanium body allows for an oversized head with a larger hitting area, while cheap golf club sets the tunite weight in the sole creates a higher moment of inertia with a low, deep center of gravity. Its TPU SenSert in the cavity decreases vibration and provides a solid feel at impact. They feature hybrid-like 3-4-5 irons to replace hard to hit long irons with game-improvement short irons, combining to provide the ultimate in playability and forgiveness. It is true that graphite is a more expensive material than the old-fashioned steel and that at one time it was widely believed that steel shafts out lasted graphite models but with proper care graphite shafts will remain in prime condition for years and due to their excellent performance are well worth the additional cost.

Callaway FT iZ Hybrid Graphite

When I suffer in the internet, I saw news about "We incorporate advanced 'Fusion' technology (stainless steel body and sole with metal injection-molded, high-density weights) to maximize perimeter weighting for our most forgiving hybrid design ever." These words appeared on Callaway website, and these golf clubs are Callaway FT-IZ Hybrid.

The Callaway FT-iZ Hybrid provides golfers with all the distance, accuracy and versatility they could ever want from a hybrid and also boasts a larger club head design compared to previous generations of Callaway hybrids. The stainless steel body and sole are joined with strategically placed weights to maximize perimeter weighting, MOI and forgiveness. The center of gravity is positioned to help effect a higher trajectory. VFT Technology generates high ball speeds across the face for hot distance and greater consistency. The offset hostel helps square the clubface at impact and sets up at address with a look that inspires total confidence.

The typical shot is a high, straight, repeatable flight with soft landing; stable head won't twist or move — you don't have to make a perfect swing to hit good shots; FT-iZ cuts right through long grass for clean contact with little distance loss; testers concur that these are reliable performers; consistent distance and direction; slight misses perform nearly as well as center strikes, most shots hold the target line; a few panelists would consider buying the FT-iZ hybrid and dropping their 4-iron.

The Callaway FT-iZ Hybrid Main Features:

> Crown Construction: Carbon Composite

> Shaft: FT-iZ Graphite

> Forgiveness: This one is new and forgiving golf clubs by Callaway. No point talking about this one much. The 24 and 27 degree as expected where stupid easy to hit.

> Distance & Accuracy: The extra length 27 clearly goes longer. The half inch extra length didn't materially effect trajectory. The 24 degree had too much extra length. It went too high as opposed to longer. Still very easy to hit, but I made the shaft too long. The 18 degree will change your approach to the game.

> Trajectory: The YS+ Hybrid shaft clearly flattened the trajectory from the stock shaft.

This Callaway FT-iZ Hybrid has been hit in an appropriate fashion. The wear is lighter than typical for a used golf club of its age/model with no change to its original new luster. Cheap golf club sets light marks on the sole can be visible but this used golf club has been well taken care of.

Golf Nutrition: Not another Sugar Rush

Golf power, without waxing too poetic about it, is about three things: The calmness before the shot, the smoothness during the shot, and the follow-through to cap it off. Unfortunately, by the time we're able to appreciate and apply the subtleties behind those three things, it is unreasonable to expect the body to consistently send the ball 300 yards down the fairway. The human body is a complex machine, but it works on simple rules. It needs specific nutrients, like golf nutrition, and a way to absorb it. As we get older, the body's mechanisms for absorbing nutrients and energy from the blood, called catalysis, become weaker. Among other things, this accounts for why we become tired quicker as we age. The ingredients of GolferAID not only replenish the nutrients your body and mind need for golf power, but they also help the body absorb those nutrients quicker for more golf nutrition.

These ingredients include:

• Glucosamine is a well-known dietary supplement recommended for the health of cartilage and bones. Joints, which are constructed mostly of cartilage, need the most replenishment between rounds since they channel all the power in the body.

• Vitamins A, C, and E promote good eyesight. Whether you're eyeballing the top of those trees one hundred yards away or staring down the green for a difficult putt, having your eyes sharp and clear is extremely beneficial.

• GolferAID has a huge number of ingredients of this sort, like epimedium, B complex, bilberry, calcium, magnesium, potassium, MSM and turmeric, among others. All of these supplements play some role in the body's ability to refresh quickly and thoroughly.

Last, but certainly not least, GolferAID is a natural drink in the most literal sense of that word. Not a single one of the 2691 mg of supplements in each can is synthetic. Additionally, this nutritional drink contains up to 35 times the supplements in competing sports drinks with 25 grams less sugar than the competition. Avoid the undependable rush of sugar- or caffeine-based drinks and choose the nutritional and powerful alternative that will improve your golf power and fuel your body's needs.

Today, GolferAID is available in leading clubs and sports facilities. There are also special membership packages that may be purchased online for substantial savings. Always have GolferAID at hand when you want it, by stocking your own supply ready for the greens.

PGA Merchandise Show Profit Driving Golf Power

In everyday manner of speaking, golf is considered to be the game for corporate executives and for the competitive sports professionals. With world today becoming a global village, even a sports novice knows about golf, though one might not be playing it. With an elite hint to it, the game of golf is much played by the rich, the royals, the white collared executives and professionals and enthusiasts from the upper middle class. Often played on a professional basis, this sport has the maximum number of pan-continental tournaments with the highest amount of prize money. For example the US PGA tour, the European PGA tour etc.

The game of golf has been the cause for the growth of golf equipment and merchandise industry. Whenever a golf tournament is held, it has much fanfare promotional events like PGA merchandise show to go along with it. These complementing activities include selling golf merchandise, hosting corporate get-together, offering club entertainment packages for prime customers etc. Traditionally, this sport-based industry had its customer base in either Europe or the North America. In a contemporary paradigm shift, the trend analysts see the present rising market in the hitherto untouched Asian countries. In this regard, the KPMG survey of 2009 forecasts a phenomenal growth of the golf-based industry in Asia due to the rise of middle class with buying power in the populous markets of India and China, alongside the world media highlighting the success of professional golfers from South Korea. It is also perceived that the South American country of Brazil offers significant potential. Meanwhile, the traditional market s in the USA, the European countries are either downsizing their businesses, or making turnaround adjustments in terms of being choosy in selecting the right products. Often merchandise shows such as the PGA merchandise show play vital role in sustaining golf events to be a profitable and a buoyant industry.

In the past, when one spoke of golf merchandise, a golf-enthusiast would recall the traditional visual of buying a unique golf driver and a set of irons. Of course, the semi-formal apparel and the footwear, the range-finder also figures as the much- remembered equipment. But these days, the golf-enthusiasts can remember either golf lessons, or a golf ball. Interestingly, they do not remember buying a whole set of clubs or a golf driver in the recession driven recent times. Interestingly, the economic downturn in the many developed countries has made an impact on the way the business of golf equipment selling is done. In such times, events like the PGA Merchandise Show, which is co-located with the US PGA Merchandise Show 2012 becomes a great opportunity for merchants and manufacturers to solicit business, make new contacts, and explore uncharted territories. In context of the Asian markets, tour events such as Asia development tour, Japan golf tour are equally important business opportunities for golf merchandise. To reach the global customers, the golf merchandisers are resorting to online marketing with multiple delivery options and outlets. Thus, one can say that for the present day golf-scenario, playing it well and marketing its merchandise go hand in hand.

Three Key Challenges to Women Golfers

Each golfer has distinctive issues, and golf training aides are designed to handle those problems. In researching the areas that women golfers have the most difficulties, we learned a few surprising things. In addressing the key challenges to women golfers, these problems are not inevitably impossible to overcome as a result of physical limits, but with some education can be dealt with.

The three areas that we feel are the key challenges to women golfers include putting, not enough driving distance, and general club head pace. Through some insight on what you are trying to accomplish and a bit of training, we think that women golfers can show progress in all three areas.

1. Putting. This might be surprising of the foremost problems to women golfers to many people, as putting wouldn't appear to require power, which is taken for granted as the largest help for men. Nevertheless in PGA versus LPGA statistics, men are statistically superior to women in putting, and women are superior in hitting greens in regulation. So why are women poorer at putting? In a following article, I will go into putting at greater extent, but two things right away come to attention: they too often employ a putter that may be overly long for them, and they don't take putting practice seriously enough. These two components clearly don't hold accurate with professional golfers, but for amateurs if they would get fitted for a putter that is the right length and work on stroke mechanics on the practice green, we can almost ensure their scores will go down.

2. Not enough driving distance. Women's professional golfers are getting more into physical exercise, and their driving distances have gone up also. This has most likely not occurred to a great level with recreational golfers. The areas to work will be the core, the abs, lower back and hamstrings. At the end of this post we will advise you on where to locate some excellent options to fulfill these ends. Furthermore, learning to harness the power of centrifugal force is an even greater contributor that has as well been described as "let the club do the work". There are a few teaching tools available that could help you get a "feel" for generating this centrifugal force.

3. Regardless of which golf club you employ, they all go about the same yardage. The cause for this is lack of golf club head velocity, and as a long-time golfer, I have observed that my long irons don't have any extra yardage than my middle irons as club head pace has diminished. Club head speed can be enhanced with work, but father time always marches on. My resolution is rescue clubs and being refitted with fairway woods. An additional tip to answer the key challenges to women golfers is improving golf ball contact. Statistics show that for every half inch you strike the golf ball from your sweet spot, you lose ten yards. By just becoming more consistent with your ball striking will offer more yardage.

These key challenges to women golfers may be overcome by practice. Also, women in my observations appear to be more prone than men to give in to problematic shots, like deep rough or sand shots. I'll confess, there are numerous times I feel the same, but I do know that will not help me the next time I'm confronted with a similar shot. But on the other hand, I'm sure men might learn from women in not always taking things on the course too seriously. A solid theme for another day!

Pettersen storms in from nine back

After matching overnight leader Na Yeon Choi's 6-under 207 54-hole total, the blonde Norwegian, who closed with a blistering 7-under 64 to a faltering Choi's 73, went out and won the sudden death play-off at the first extra hole with a par.

The due had finished one shot ahead ofKoreanYoungPark(67), two clear of American Paul Creamer (68) and three in front ofUScompatriots Vicky Hurst (67) and the events standout rookie Ryan O'Toole (70).

Pettersen, whose closing 64 was lowest score of the week, finished her round on the Ghost Creek Course at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club nearly two hours before Choi bogeyed the 18th hole to let what would have been her first title this year slip through her nervous fingers.

And things didn't improve when the pair went out to tee-off in the play-off from the 18th hole.

Choi dumped her second shot on the par-four into the water to the right of the green and then missed a putt for bogey to gift Pettersen with an easy par win.

It was shades of Choi's loss in the 2009 Safeway Classic to fellow Korean MJ Hur, who also only needed to sink a par putt for victory.

Pettersen entered Sunday at one over par, trailing second-round leader Choi by nine shots, but a strong day with hot PING G20 Irons helped her to mount her startling comeback.

She had five birdies and an eagle on the 10th that was nearly an albatross - she only needed to sink a two-inch putt there en route to putting herself on the top of the leaderboard.

This is Pettersen's second LPGA Tour title of the year and the eighth of her career.

She won the 2011 Sybase Match Play Championship in May and also captured the Ladies Irish Open on the European Ladies Tour atKilleenCastleon August 7 and it has helped move her up to No 2 in the World behind Yani Tseng.

"I definitely didn't think I was going to be sitting here (as the winner) when I warmed up this morning," Pettersen told the media after her victory.

"It was nice to have a back-to-back winIrelandand now here, and with my full-time caddie on the bag this week. So now this is really a bonus coming off a five-day vacation back home. I did not anticipate this, but I'll take it."

Her victory was achieved in the midst of a second personal tragedy.

For while things have been good for her on the golf course this summer, her life has taken some strain off the course.

First there was the tragedy that struck her hometown ofOsloon July 22 when a total of 77 people lost their lives in a bomb attack near the government buildings in the capital city and a mass shooting at a youth camp on a nearby island.

And this week Pettersen was grieving another loss after a close family friend, Annan Henneie, was killed in a skydiving accident inNorwayon Wednesday.

Henneie, 29, left behind a wife and a 10-day-old son and Pettersen dedicated her PING G20 Irons to his memory.

"It's been a brutal summer," Pettersen said. "This last incident was just the top of the.... what I don't know. It's, like I said, it's been very, very tough. All I can think of is my love and my hugs go to his family and his wife and his little son. It's just very, very sad."

"It makes you realize life's not all about PING G20 Irons," she added. "It makes you put things in perspective."

Pettersen said she awoke on Sunday morning thinking that she was too far behind to have any chance of winning, so instead, focused on another goal - to shoot a low round and strengthen her position in the Rolex World Rankings.

"I'm on the range, and Dave goes 'you know if you shoot a low one today you might take over the number two spot in the world ranking.'

As it turned out Pettersen not only shot the lowest round of the week and indeed moved up to No 2 in thew World, she also was able to put huge pressure on the faltering Choi who would have know about the Norwegian's final round heroics long before she reached the 18th green and fatally missed a what could have been a face-saving putt.

A bogey at 13 first forced Choi to give up at least a share of the lead, but the 2010 Vare Trophy winner had nevertheless managed to come to the 18th hole with a one-shot lead thanks to birdies on 15 and 17.

But then she hit water with her second shot and that was the beginning of the end.

"First of all, congratulations to Suzann," Choi said. "She played so well today. I shot two over par, and it's not a great score, but she played so well. She did a really good job.

"Like in the playoff, I just hit it and missed the shot (when she found water on her final hole in regulation), and it's my fault. But I think I picked up some great experience. Next time I'm in the same situation I'll be better than the other player, right? So I got something out of this..

"I must keep trusting myself. I'm doing great. So we'll see next week."

Ping G20 Hybrid send us the relaxation before the Mid autumn festival

Yesterday, I was attracted by one picture with one sentence which is you smile, I smile! This makes me think of the mirror. We will meet different things everyday. So we can not let the trifles affect our feelings. And my high school teachers told me that smile at the mirror and say I am the best every morning can gain confidence. Afterwards, I think it is helpful.

Summer likes a stove, although we have the air conditioning, I still want to enjoy the fresh air. Then I decide to go shopping with my friends after work. Finally, we get to the gate of wholesale golf clubs mart, the title is when it comes to choosing irons, better players tend to choose bladed clubs, not the beginners. You do hurry to pick the right irons and want to save money too. Good news for you! We offer Irons for players include blade irons and forged golf irons you can buy PING G20 Hybrid at wholesale price, which is really worth buying. Actually, I myself is not interested in the golf. But my friend is so happy that I can not cast a chill over him.

With a patience, I gradually get to know that the Ping G20 Hybrid retains the same technology that made the G15 hybrid remarkably easy to launch the ball high and straight. A flatter lie angle and crown improve the appearance for added confidence. Exceptional ground impact was assured by adding bounce and increasing sole camber both front to back and heel to toe and the G20's square setup and a neutral head rotation help bring the clubface straight at impact for shots that find their marks, even from challenging lies.

Well, it was designed for controllable distance from any lie on the course, the offset hosel design helps the G20 hybrids create the high launch and low spin that improve your accuracy. A large, internal weight inside the 17-4 stainless steel head provides forgiveness and distance. The Ping G20 Hybrid retains the same technology of G15 hybrid, an offset hosel design and a lower center of gravity that produces shots with high launch, low spin.

Actually, I am not clear whether it is high performance, but when I saw my friend's expression, I know that it met her needs. so I think it is worthy of enduring the heat to keep him company.

Therefore, sometimes we'd better not complain of the weather, after all, keep good feelings depend on ourselves.

Golf Club Componets: Playing Golf The Lego Set Way

To understand how to buy golf club components, you first need to know how these parts work and what they are in the first place. So let's begin in this way. If you know the parts already, treat this portion as a short review of Golf 101.

The Grip
The grip of the golf club is important because it is the extension of the golfer's hands. According to the rules of golf, the grip has to be round, without obvious pockmarks which detract significantly from the roundness.

The Shaft
The shaft of the golf club connects the grip to the head and, like the grip, must also conform to accepted roundness rules. Most modern golf club shafts are made of either steel or a carbon-fiber and resin composite.
Now it's about time to explain the concept and the theory behind a golf club component. The operant word is assembly type. It's like playing Lego set. So let's say you want to fit your choice of shaft to the rest of the club components, you'll be running into a vendor that sells a golf component kit. Now you've got to be careful about whom you trust in this business. It's easy to ruin your investment. It can get scratched or worse, broken. It's not a simple glue or Epoxy situation.

Some unscrupulous golf component vendors use a sacrificial laminate process, involving grinding the outside of the shaft. By cutting the fibers on the surface, energy and feel are lost. Solution: Look for a high grade modulus shaft fiber which results in very little loss of energy from your hands to the clubface.

Golf Tips Golf Swing

The increasingly popular game of golf can be described as one of the hardest and most frustrating games on the planet. And at the same time can be both an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The thing that most golfers have in common is that just when you think you’ve mastered the art of the game, new problems begin to occur leaving you to re-think your entire golfing strategy. The golf swing for example is one of the hardest things to get right when playing golf.
One day it can be fine and the next you can barely hit it off the tee. Why is this?
It could be one of many reasons, the most common being is that you probably altered a part of your swing or setup without even realizing it. Any slight change in anyone’s golf swing can have a huge impact on their game and before you know it you can find yourself in all sorts of trouble.
Below are a few golf tips that most players will find very helpful when it comes to improving their golf swing and overall game:
1. The Golf Grip
The first and one of the most important things every golfer needs to play golf is a good grip. The best tip for a good golf grip is to hold the club quite firm but not too tight. This will give you some freedom and movement and will allow you to swing with ease allowing for a better more relaxed golf swing.
2. The Golf Stance
Probably the most overlooked aspect of the golf game is the stance. The best advice on this matter is simply to make sure that your entire body (eyes, shoulders, forearms, hips, knees and feet) are parallel to the target line where you wish to hit your golf shot.

Posture is also a key factor to your golf stance. Always make sure you bend forward from the waist and keeping your spine as straight as possible. A good tip for this is to lift your head up a little bit so you have to look down your nose at the ball. This is a great way to keep your back that little bit straighter and create better golf shots.
And lastly keep your knees slightly bent with your weight on the balls of your feet to ensure good balance.
3. The Golf Swing
A great golf swing tip is to always remember to swing through the ball and not at it. Doing this will achieve greater extension through your golf shot making for an overall better swing.
A mistake some golfers can make is swinging their club to hard thinking that the ball will travel further. The truth is that a more relaxed swing creates greater club head speed allowing the ball to travel further. Swinging hard causes the body to tense making it a nightmare in some cases to hit a good golf shot.
Overall the best way to achieve results in golf is to believe in your ability and knowledge of the game.
Try not to over think everything, relax and just enjoy playing the game of golf.

James Nitties wins Midwest Classic

James Nitties wins Midwest Classic
Australia’s James Nitties won the Midwest Classic on Saturday for his first Nationwide Tour title, shooting with a 6-under 65 for a five-stroke victory.
Nitties fired a closing six-under-par 65 with ping g20 irons seven birdies to win the Midwest Classic in Overland Park, Kansas by five strokes at 26-under 258.Fellow Newcastle product Nick Flanagan tied second with Sweden’s Jonas Blixt after a 68 and would have had second place money on his own but for a bogey on the last.
Nitties is playing the secondary tour after losing his main tour card last season but appears set for a swift return as his $US99,000 first prize money lifted him from 63rd to 12th on the money list.
“I’ve been waiting for this one for a while,” said Nitties, who spent the past two seasons on the PGA Tour. “It seemed like everything went my way this week. It was my day today. There’s still a lot of golf left to play this season, but this puts me in good position to get back to the tour.”He opened with rounds of 65, 63 and 65 and finished at 26-under 258 at Nicklaus Golf Club ping K15 irons at LionsGate.
“Usually I’m a streaky putter,” Nitties said. “I’ll putt good for one round and then not hole anything the rest of the week. This week, I actually holed the putts I should hole and then made the most of my opportunities.”
It’s been four years since Flanagan won three times in a season on the Nationwide Tour to earn instant promotion to the main tour.He only lasted one year there before dropping back.

Padraig Harrington give great support on Tiger to pass Nicklaus

Padraig Harrington give great support on Tiger to pass Nicklaus
Padraig Harrington still puts his money on Tiger Woods breaking Jack Nicklaus’ record 18 professional majors.
Harrington played the opening two rounds of the PGA Championship with Woods, who missed the cut. Even so, the Irishman saw him hit enough good shots to realize his game will not be gone forever.
“I still believe when he turns up and plays well in a given week, I think he’s well capable of winning any major he plays in,” Harrington said Tuesday. “He still has a good ball flight. He still hits it well with the help ofr11 driver. Once he puts it together in a given week, he can win and will going forward. … OK, it wasn’t his week that week. But when it is his week, he will win again.”
Harrington said the difference now is that if something can go wrong with Woods on the course, it will. Woods was atop the leaderboard through five holes of the opening round and one tee shot into the water changed everything. He opened with a 77 and finished outside the top 100 in a major for the first time.
“This is what I would have seen at the PGA,” Harrington said. “Certain he played better, much better than his score. Whereas when he was on top of his game, he always scored really well. It was very rare that you would ever see Tiger Woods walking off a golf course with ping g20 driver where he had not got the most out of his round, where he certainly didn’t at the PGA. He got the minimum out of his rounds.”
Harrington said Woods appeared frustrated with the technical part of his game, which did not surprise him. Harrington knows better than most, since he always is tinkering with his swing.
“When you’re kind of happy with your game, you tend to get the most out of it,” he said. “You feel like you shot 70 and you end up shooting 68. And when you’re not happy with your game, you feel like you shot 70 and you end up shooting 72. I experience that myself a lot. That’s kind of what I see in Tiger’s game.”

Neosho committee questions golf transfer

Neosho committee questions golf transfer

A proposal to pay down Neosho’s golf course debt with part of the proceeds from a one-eighth-cent capital improvement sales tax that now funds economic development was not well received by Discount golf clubs some members of the Economic Development Sales Tax Committee on Tuesday.

Council members and city staff reviewed roughly half of next fiscal year’s proposed budget Tuesday, with finance director Martha Mundt explaining the numbers as councilmen asked questions and provided insight and direction. The process will resume at a second budget work session scheduled for 6 p.m. next Tuesday at the Civic.

The municipal golf course dominated much of Tuesday night’s discussion.

The city says discontinuing its current contract with golf pro Justin Beck to independently manage the course would reduce overhead and increase revenue. But some council members, namely Ruth, argued that any potential dollar savings might very well be eaten up in employee benefits.

A revised opinion on the purpose of the economic development tax has classified it as for capital improvements. Prior to this revision, the tax had been used to not only build spec buildings to attract industry, but also to pay for r11 driver an annual chamber contract to help the city market itself around the area and at trade shows. The new definition came during the process of budget cuts. As they reviewed this year’s proposed budget, committee members noted their input was not solicited this year and hinted the administration’s non-inclusion of the governing committee smacked of the previous administration.

During the meeting Tuesday, sales tax committee member Larry Neff introduced a motion to block the use of the sales tax revenue to finance baseball or softball diamonds or a water park. The motion passed 3-2, with Hart and Davidson voting against it.

Hart, at a City Council meeting last month, had asked Moore for an estimate of the city’s cost to build cheap golf clubs baseball and softball diamonds on the former golf course land, but there hasn’t been any public talk of a water park. As part of their austerity measures, city leaders previously cut youth sports programs and turned most of them over to the Freeman Southwest Family YMCA. Some city leaders have been trying to get the programs resurrected since then as money allows.

At a budget work session later Tuesday with council members, City Attorney Steve Hays said the city’s proposed transfer of sales tax revenue from economic development to golf course debt would be legal. He said that under state law, park maintenance and improvements are considered capital improvements, and golf courses fall under the definition of parks.

Tiger Woods will adds Frys.com in October

Tiger Woods will adds Frys.com in October
It turns out Tiger Woods wasn’t just paying lip service to the idea of needing more competition to sharpen his new golf swing. Golf’s top draw announced Monday that he’ll return to cheap golf clubs the West Coast for the Frys.com Open. The Fall Series event will be played Oct. 6-9 at CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, Calif., about 40 minutes south of his Stanford alma mater.
Woods has played just eight USPGA Tour events this year partly because of injuries to his left knee and Achilles’ tendon.Woods has never played the Tour’s fall with Wholesale Golf Equipment series events but a couple of weeks ago he was urged by American Presidents Cup team captain Fred Couples to play more tournaments. Couples announced last week that Woods would be included on the American squad.
Woods failed to make the cut at the PGA Championship earlier this month and also failed to make it into the FedEx Cup playoffs. The PGA Championship was just Woods’ second tournament in eight weeks.
Woods, who has played every Presidents Cup since he first became eligible in 1998, has already said he would play the Australian Open and the one day Notah Begay charity event in New York on Wednesday.
Barring another addition, it will end a seven-week layoff since Woods missed the cut at the PGA Championship with R11 Driver price. He also fell short of getting into the FedEx Cup “playoff” series, keeping him out of the current four-event stretch to crown a season champion.
Injuries to his left knee and Achilles tendon have limited Woods to just eight starts in 2011, taking three months off after an early exit from The Players Championship when he withdrew after just nine holes.
Woods has not played later than Oct. 1 on the PGA Tour since 2005, when he missed the cut at the Disney stop and then finished second at the Tour Championship.

Three Steps to Improve Your Golf Swing

Three Steps to Improve Your Golf Swing
Golf is perhaps the latest elite sport and fitness activity to take the fitness circles and sporting enthusiasts by storm. Almost every other individual, whether male or female, wants to become a golfing enthusiast or at least an amateur player and it is a good way to meet up with R11 Driver for sale friends and colleagues in the weekends and enjoy yourself, while keeping yourself fit and healthy and active.
How to do a smooth golf swing transition?
I have often noticed that weekend amateur golfers have this strange tendency of beginning their downswing with a violent and tense motion that completely eliminates any chance of a solid contact. You must remember that the most critical transition point is the top of the swing that should gently flow down to make a smooth downswing. Let me tell you a good strategy to improve your downswing. When raising your golf swing to the top think light and lazy. This will help you.
Take the golf club back in a slow and low motion
Another thing that I have observed is that an amateur golfer tends to usePing G20 Driver his wrists to swing the club backwards in too quick a motion. As a result of this faulty move, the swing goes off plane and proper extension is reduced. Let me prepare you for a proper takeaway.
First of all you have to stand in your address position which is normal for you and then behind your club head, you have to drop or place a ball. While initiating the backswing, the ball has to be rolled backward. In this way you have to roll the ball till it shoots past the right foot if you are a right hander.

Troy Matteson leads PGA Tour event

Troy Matteson leads PGA Tour event
The Deutsche Bank Championship began Friday with two players on opposite ends of the world ranking — Luke Donald at No. 1, Cheap Golf Clubs Troy Matteson at No. 207 — having their lowest first rounds of the year on the PGA Tour.
Matteson overcame a bogey on the first hole for Wholesale Golf Equipment a 6-under-par 65 and the outright lead after the first round of the second tournament in the four-event FedEx Cup playoffs. Donald shot a 66 to tie for second with Masters champion Charl Schwartzel, Y.E. Yang and Jerry Kelly.
Ryan Moore of Puyallup, Kyle Stanley of Gig Harbor and PGA Championship with Ping K15 Irons winner Keegan Bradley were among 14 players tied for 13th place at 68.
Meanwhile, Phil Mickelson (70) brought attention to himself for two items that looked out of place.
One day after he took batting practice at Fenway Park and wore a Red Sox jersey while throwing out the first pitch before the New York Yankees’ 4-2 victory, Mickelson wore pinstripes at the TPC Boston.
“Lost a wager with a friend and had to wear these today,” Mickelson said. “What can you say? I’ve got to suck it up and bear it.”
Stranger yet was the sight of Mickelson sticking the grip of Burner 2.0 Irons for sale a long putter into his midsection.
Mickelson became the latest PGA Tour player to try a belly putter. Although he still missed his share of putts, he sounded as if he was willing to stick with it — at least for this tournament.

Roosters Braith Anasta has rediscovered his passion for golf

Roosters Braith Anasta has rediscovered his passion for golf
Have you ever heard of Braith Anasta? He won a grand final with the Bulldogs, played for NSW and Australia, and was one game away from leading the Sydney Roosters to premiership glory last year. But despite his sparkling rugby league credentials, Anasta will be battling to keep his cool when he stands on the first tee of the NSW PGA at Wollongong later this year.
A former top junior golfer, Anasta rediscovered his passion for the game about 18 months ago.He has trimmed his handicap to plus-one and is taking his invitation to play alongside the pros seriously.
“I’ve never been able to just concentrate on golf, so I’ve got a couple of months to focus on it. I’d usually get away in the pre-season, but I’ve known this is coming up so I’ll be sticking around and hitting the golf course. I need to put the practice in to make sure I’m competitive.”It’ll be good to experience it and see how those guys treat it and how they prepare and get around the golf course.
“It’s a totally different field for me and it’ll be a totally different experience.”While Anasta has fantasised about a similar career change when he eventually hangs up his football boots, he knows it would mean making a lot of sacrifices.
“It’s probably a little disrespectful to the professionals and getting ahead of myself, because there’s a lot of hard work and you have to prove yourself first. I’d pretty much have to dedicate my whole time to golf to give it a real crack, and at this point I’m probably not able to do that.
“I grew up on a golf course and played with some guys who are doing pretty well for themselves these days, but I ended up getting a contract with Souths and didn’t really play golf for a good 10 years or so.
“But golf’s always been a release for me. You can go out there and relax and have some time to yourself. I love the competitive nature of it and the mental aspect, and just knowing it’s on your shoulders and no-one else’s. It’s very different to rugby league in that wayAnasta plans on practising almost daily in the countdown to the NSW PGA in November.

Tate focused on getting back in swing of things soon

Tate focused on getting back in swing of things soon

ALAN Tate has targeted a Christmas return to action after speaking for the first time about the golf buggy crash which left him with a broken leg.Tate was ruled out for up to six months by Swansea City’s medical staff after fracturing his tibia in an accident at Gower Golf Club two and a half weeks ago.
Swansea’s vice-captain has revealed how he initially tried to walk following the incident, and suggested he would be okay now had he not tried to bail out of the buggy. The injury, comfortably the most serious of Tate’s career, is a cruel blow for a player who has put in the hard yards in his bid to earn a crack at the Premier League.
But Tate, who left hospital yesterday after a fortnight under close supervision, insists he is already looking forward to his comeback game.
“I’m not feeling sorry for myself or anything like that because that’s when you start suffering,” he says.”I feel a bit unlucky for this to happen this season, but I’ve got good people around me and all I’m thinking about is getting back playing again.
Tate had originally been released from hospital soon after his initial treatment, but he went back in because of fears that he might do further damage to his leg with young son Brodey and the family dog running around at home.
The plaster has been off a couple of times, and the leg is feeling stronger already. An early morning round of golf three Sundays ago all went wrong on Gower’s 12th hole, when the buggy carrying Tate and a mate started skidding down a hill.

Justin Rose didn’t join the belly brigade

Justin Rose didn’t join the belly brigade

After admittedly struggling on the greens most of the year, Justin Rose turned up with a new toy in hand at the practice area on Tuesday at the BMW Championship.

He’d just picked up a brand-new belly putter, he always like to use Ping K15 Irons, though he barely knew which end of it to hold. So he spent a few moments watching the other belly-putter purveyors using the popular device as he tried to figure  out whether he was brave enough to use it in live play.

When the first round came, he left it in the trunk.Rose shot one of the more impressive rounds of the season with an 8-under 63, which was 8.75 strokes better than the field average in the first round at difficult Cog Hill. Recommend you Ping G15 Driver for sale at our online store.

Rose, a popular Englishman, had nine one-putt greens and made a series of short-range testers in the five-foot range to maintain his two-shot lead over Webb Simpson and Mark Wilson, both two-time winners this season.

Rose ranks 111th in the tour’s newest stat, strokes gained putting, Taylormade R9 Driver for Sale is really cheap and nice driver. which translates rather brusquely to this — compared to his peers, he’s been below the tour average this season. Small wonder he was investigating the belly model, all the rage of late. Four of the last five tour events have been won by players using longer putters.”I’ve got to try and represent the short putter out here,” Rose laughed afterward. “I probably did get a few benefits from trying it.”

Some players, like past BMW winner Camilo Villegas, use the belly model on the practice green as an instructional tool, with the notion that it helps them with the traditional-length model. So Rose might be onto something.

It wasn’t like the rest of his game was lacking, either. He hit all 14 fairways and only missed two greens, totals that topped the field in both categories.

He also halted a rather nagging problem that has dogged him much of the season — he was ranked 111th by using of the Ping G20 Irons in opening-round scoring average. He shaved 8.4 strokes off his Thursday average.

“I’ve been sort of fighting my way back into tournaments,” he said. Now he can enjoy running out front for a while.
