Stricker, widely considered to be the best American out there right now, followed his major-record-tying 63 in the first round with a 73 Sunday to finish in a tie for 12th.
Maybe their time will come. Maybe not. The way this season is playing out, the maybes have it.

The guys they need to thank are guys like Roy Pace and the local guys. They do it year-round. We’re going to be there for about six hours, and we’re glad to do it, but Roy Pace and his staff are the ones who need to be commended. I take my hat off to them.”
