Ping G10 Fairway Wood with Large Weight on the Sole

In the world, everyone has their duty during their life. We purchase our dream, we study more and more to rich us; we work hard to live the high level life. When we are old, there is a pity during our life that is we are not enjoying our life. At times we pay too much attention to the results, to neglect the view on the way.

For example, people like to play golf; they think that they take consideration in the process. They are not only focus on the results, they enjoy the process. How you feel about golf? Ping G series include G10, G15 and G20; all of them are the super star in the golf equipment, cheap golf club sets the intersection of the crown and sole results in a skirtless design which allowed PING engineers to reposition discretionary weight from the crown, face and hosel for a lower center of gravity location. An internal weight pad creates the low CG location and provides higher ball velocity and reduced spin. With a crown that directly intersects the sole to create a low-profile head that combines with a long, shallow face for improved performance from all types of lies.

Ping's fairway woods have come a long way since the early days and we think the Ping G10 Fairway Wood is the best looking design so far. It was wise advice. The lower, deeper centre of gravity that has been created in the low profile head gets the ball airborne more quickly and with its solid strike sends a sensation up the shaft which translates into raising the hairs on the back of your neck. The low center of gravity (CG) is achieved by positioning a large weight pad on the sole. The weight pad is formed from discretionary weight repositioned from the crown, face and hosel. The location of the CG provides higher ball velocity and reduced spin.

The Ping G10 fairway woods have a shallow face that is longer heel to toe to increase the effective hitting area for added forgiveness and consistency. Its low lead edge and bounce angle effectively lower the center of gravity which produces increased energy transfer and makes getting under the ball easier. The TFC stiff shaft provides a nice, climbing ball flight without any of the ballooning that I was experiencing with my Nike T60 fairway woods. In fact, this shaft /club offer the same or better distance than my old 3 wood and with a higher loft!

Ping G10 Fairway Wood Description:

>Crown intersects sole for low profile

>Shallow, longer face for increased hitting area

>Large, internal weight pad lowers CG for optimal launch

>Lower lead edge

Callaway's New Tour Model of Diablo Octane Tour Fairway Woods

"The aesthetics of my Diablo Octane Fairway Wood were very appealing from the start. It sat well and appealed to my eye. Whether I want to cut it or fade it, it always has that good, strong flight. I can hit the two shots that I need to hit—land it softly on the green on a par-5 or have that penetrating flight off the tee into a 20 M.P.H. wind. I was very comfortable with the looks and the function right away." - Stuart Appleby gives highly evaluation to Diablo Octane Fairway Wood.

At the same time, Callaway released their new star—Callaway Diablo Octane Tour Fairway Wood, strike the iron while it is hot. It is built for and designed to maximize power and produce a remarkably consistent ball flight whether off the tee or from the fairway. This Tour model is designed for complete workability and distance and features aggressive VFT Technology and has precision shaping on the face thickness in each club that increases the size of the sweet spot. The combination produces a pleasing, resonant sound at impact, so each shot just feels right. The clubs' VFT technology is a key factor.

Standard models have larger footprints with a higher moment of inertia (MOI) and a deep center of gravity (CG), encouraging better playability and higher trajectories. Cheap golf club sets tour models, by contrast, have smaller footprints, traditional hosels that inspire confidence at address, and a highly workable feel, with low, penetrating trajectories. Callaway's Tour models are designed for more accomplished golfers, with features that provide greater versatility to attack the course with precision shot-shaping and trajectory control.

With each club, Callaway precisely varied the internal thickness of the face to increase the size of the sweet spot. This generates hotter ball speeds and longer distances, a must for longer course setups this club generates hotter ball speeds for longer distance and inspires confidence at address with low, penetrating trajectories. The stainless steel construction generates superior distance for a variety of swing speeds with a pleasing sound at impact.

Golf Club Swing Tempo- the Way to make it Better

As we talk of tempo in the golf swing, we are talking about the glue which holds your swing together. In simple language, it is the pace of the golf swing, and is dictated not by the arms and legs but from the hub of the body. It is going to be different for everybody, since everybody will rotate their body at different speeds, consequently their swing rhythm will differ. And of course as you get older, the speed that you will rotate your body is going to lessen.

But good swing tempo is vital since devoid of it the various areas of your body that go into your swing won't mesh. When your body, arms and legs are not in sync your body is going to fight against itself, producing not just lesser yardage but in addition troubles with accuracy. Your golf swing is not going to move efficiently and will seem jerky and uncoordinated. So for most people the simple answer to the dilemma is going to be to slow down so that every area of the body can work as one, but there will be more to it than just slowing down.

As acknowledged previously, the hub of the body will be where the rest of the swing works from, and therefore the core dictates swing tempo. And since the core of your body has the capacity to rotate only so quickly, (which will depend on the golfer swinging the golf club), your arms have got to keep in concert. But considering the arms have the ability to move with a quicker pace than your body, when we endeavor to come up with more golf club velocity and consequently additional yardage, we generally endeavor to do it through swinging our arms more violently. This will get everything out of sync, and so the result is regularly a bad shot.

So let the body get you to appropriate position at the point of ball contact, and let the arms take the lead from your body core. Next, what will be the correct arm rhythm, or how briskly should the ideal backswing be? It is commonly agreed that the backswing should last three times longer getting to the uppermost of your backswing as it will to return from the top of your backswing to your golf ball at contact. So if you were counting to four beginning at the instant that you start the golf club back, at the pinnacle of the backswing you would reach three, then with golf ball strike you would be at four. You of course wouldn't choose to work on this when you're at the course, but it would be a great drill to do on the driving range, or simply as you're taking several swings with the golf club.

Another little training drill which may help is to grasp a club using both hands, club shaft parallel to the ground. Rotate your body to the backswing position as you count up to three, and then bring your body back to the golf ball contact point, reaching it at the four-count. Through doing this you can experience the appropriate tempo, not overly fast or too slow, that is comfortable for you. Finally all you need to accomplish is take that proper tempo to the golf course and have it integrated in your swing when you are concentrating on other golf course management concerns.

The Most Successful Approach to Reserving Your Golf Tee Time

Bring to mind the former method of reserving tee times. Call up a course, wait for somebody who wasn't busy at the moment, and wish that the tee times when your golfing partners and you could play was yet free. If not, on to your following alternative, then your third, and do not even think about it after night. When reserving your golf tee time now, those problems are a thing in the past.

Reserving online is currently the most effective way to reserving your golf tee time. The reasons the online booking services are taking over are:

• Convenience. You will be free to book a tee time 24/7.

• Simplicity. The easy-to-navigate website makes booking your tee time a snap, a good deal less difficult than making flight reservations.

• Choices. You will possess numerous golf courses at your disposal, and you will be able to click on the course and find out a little about it if it is your initial visit, including facilities and course information, scorecard, amenities, directions to your course, and even weather forecasts.

• Discounts. Reserving your golf tee time online enables you to reap the benefits of deals, and some of them pretty sizeable. In addition you will not need to go digging for them, as they will be presented on the area's golf page.

If you're looking for deals, the most effective point to play is going to be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, as they are also the times when the course is usually the quietist. Bargains will also be had with evening rates, as you might not have time to finish the full 18 but can still get in some golf at a time that is usually a pleasure to play. Mondays are commonly the day courses use for recovery and to do their heavier maintenance, so discount rates may not be as available at that time.

One company that makes use of leading edge technology is GolfNow, partnering with in excess of 3000 quality courses and resorts across the US, Canada and Ireland. They carry a discounted tee time inventory at over 2000 courses, and with their easy search feature, it is possible for you to easily find tee times and fees for playing rounds of golf at one of their widespread list of affiliate courses. Other online services which offer ways of reserving your golf tee time online are Clickitgolf, Tee Time Watch, and Golf Card International.

As avid golf players and travelers, one of the great features we like about reserving your golf tee time online is going to an unfamiliar area. In the past the course of action was to get a telephone book and begin making phone inquiries, and sometimes after we showed up to play the course did not meet our expectations. Another method was to talk to somebody who had played in the area before and have faith in their suggestions. Happily those days are long disappeared. When booking your golf tee time now, a few clicks of the mouse and you know your course, your price, plus your tee time.

The Pre-Shot Plan - Turn It to Your Advantage

Those few seconds between the time you tee up the golf ball, or approach the ball on the fairway, and actually hit it will most likely determine how successful the shot is going to be. Will that be a time when those mind games creep in, causing you to lose focus? By utilizing your pre-shot plan that is tailored to you, there will only be time for you to concentrate on the job at hand. So why does every good golfer have an effective pre-shot plan? Because it works!

Essentially, your pre-shot plan is really a series of checkpoints, thoughts, movements, and attention to particulars just before hitting a golf shot. It should be exclusive to every golfer, and it's also best when it fits the golfer's personality. To put it differently, when a golfer throughout his daily routine moves through life in warp-speed, he'd not utilize a slow, methodical routine. Similarly, if you are a more deliberate person, that slower routine would fit you better.

So what would your pre-shot plan look like? Since I can only stress how important it is and what components go into it, I can't explain to you what is perfect for you. Therefore I will describe what I do before every shot, and maybe you may draw some ideas.

1.Previous to choosing a club, I stand behind the ball and picture the shot. That doesn't mean only distance. I take into account wind direction and strength, the way the ball is carrying on that day, how I have been previously striking the ball, and I leave a margin for error away from problem areas.

2.Choose a club. Even though I had already pre-decided my golf club prior to visualizing my shot, I always carry a couple, and occasionally three, additional clubs with me. If I change my mind after choosing the proper shot, endeavoring to hit that shot using a club I am uncomfortable with will in all probability end up poorly. That's exactly why I always prefer to walk the course if possible; all of your tools are always there with you.

3.Choose your target. I actually do this from behind the ball, then I align a spot about five feet on line and in front of the golf ball. That's where I will set my stance and my clubface to. I've discovered through practice that this provides me with a more consistent set-up to my target.

4.Prior to setting my feet, I fix the club on the exact place I would like it to hit the ball. I know that in case something mechanical fails with my swing, much can be corrected with a proper ball strike. I then set my front foot to the ball, then my back foot.

5.Then after one last glance at the target, to trigger the swing (I believe this is important) I slightly press the hands forward prior to drawing the club into the backswing. This "trigger" provides a consistent starting place to begin the swing.

As I said before, your pre-shot plan is personal, so you must work out what fits best for you. But to play your most consistent golf, you must address this very important aspect of golf.

World Renown Golfer Reveals Top Secret Free Ways To Learn And Improve Your Golf Game

Golf is a great game, but extremely frustrating at times when you just don`t seem to get a single shot right: slices, hooks, fats abound; drives are too short, too long, too high, too low, too right or too left; those delightful cannon ball like shots are a far off dream, and you don`t know where things have gone wrong. Don`t fret. Improving your game isn`t the most difficult thing to accomplish on the Earth, though at times it may feel so. Here are some tips on how you can go about improving your golf game.
Firstly, when it comes to driving the ball, improving the swing mechanics is the most important thing. And you have to understand that the mechanics of a golf swing require certain specific levels of body flexibility, balance, stability, strength and endurance together referred to as golf fitness in addition to a grasp of the technique.
Golf fitness includes high rotational flexibility and strength of the muscles and joints in the lower back, hips, shoulders and the core (i.e, the abdominal area). Improved golf fitness is bound to improve your shots. If you are golf fit, you can implement correct body stance and setup more easily and have better balance and stability, without injury to muscles and joints, leading to improved swing mechanics, better shots, and longer drives.
Once your golf fitness and swing mechanics are in order, you can pay attention to the equipment. There`s no doubt that custom made golf clubs can make a substantial improvement to your swing power if you know what position the club should be in while it is being swung. A golf swing works best when you strike the ball with the club head square to the line of flight, pointing at the target, and with the right angle of attack.
Using the right club in the right way, for the purpose for which it was designed, also plays a big role in improving your game. For example, of the three basic clubs, the driver shaped club drives the ball on a low trajectory and is therefore used for long distance shots. The iron club (lofter), that lifts the ball, is used to place the ball into position in certain spots on the fairway or on the green. The putter is designed to roll the ball; this club is therefore used to accomplish the ultimate purpose of the game to roll the ball into the hole.
In addition to these three clubs, you can use a heavy weighted club to get the ball out of deep grass or sand traps. Professional golfers generally use a set of 14 clubs, up to 5 drivers and 8 irons, along with a putter and a weighted club. However, remember that even the best golf club can do only what you make it do; nothing more, nothing less.
In conclusion, tips for improving your game of golf boil down to three simple things:
1. Improving your swing mechanics;
2. Improving your golf fitness; and finally
3. Improving the equipment. Of course, the third tip works only after the first two are taken care of.

Myrtle Beach Golf Vacations Combine Golf with Family Fun

Myrtle Beach golf vacations offer you a resort based golf holiday that is smack in the center of the 60 mile stretch of beach in Carolina that is known as the Grand Strand. With its hotels, night life and fabulous beach facilities, what else could you ask for? Golf courses? Well, of course: there are over one hundred of them!
The climate is great. The sun shines most of the year, yet it is not so hot that you cannot enjoy the golf. It can cater for every size of pocket from the small to the downright bottomless, yet everybody enjoys the same sun, the same beaches and the same choice of golf courses.
The Whole Family is Kept Happy
Myrtle Beach has so many golf courses that it is unlikely you will find the time to do a lot more than play golf, but your family will still want to be entertained, especially if they do not follow your passion for the game. A lot depends on whether the other half is male or female, and if you have brought the children with you. There is certainly no lack of shopping: Myrtle Beach has so much to offer, with up to the minute fashion boutiques, lots of shopping malls with the nationwide labels and retail outlets where there are lots of brand name stores to browse round.
For you there are an almost unlimited number of golf shops offering everything from a pack of tees to a full set of clubs, or the latest golf gear. It’s up to you if you want to let them loose downtown…rather you than me!
What about the rest of the family that wouldn’t know a golf ball from a ping pong ball? No problem. There are water sports of all kinds, parasailing, water skiing and jet skiing. There are hire shops everywhere so you don’t have to bring your own gear. They can try a round of putting while you play a round of golf. Who knows, they might catch the bug and be on the course with you this time next year.
Keep an Eye on the Waistline
After all that exercise you will all be hungry and the cuisine in Myrtle Beach is very varied. Every possible taste is met and you will probably need the exercise to work off all these little treats and luxuries you allow yourself while on vacation. You can have what you want, from lobster and steak to wings and slaw, and if you are not careful you will be returning home a few inches or a couple of sizes bigger than when you left. So use these gyms and try out these water sports because it’s unlikely your golf will work off all these extra calories.
As for the kids…well, it is a beach resort, so they will be well catered for with the white knuckle rides they love, and all the amusements for those too young for the more exciting rides. Myrtle Beach is truly a resort where the needs of every member of the family, from the youngest to the oldest, are met. Not just met but fully satisfied.
Myrtle Beach golf vacations are exactly what families need to make sure that everybody enjoys the vacation. No more complaining from the youngsters or your partner. They will be fully occupied and you will be able to enjoy your golf without worrying about what they will be saying next year when you suggest the same.

Yoga Retreats And Golf – Strange Bedmates Or Not?

In the same way that golf is becoming more open to women players, yoga is beginning to be more appealing and acceptable for men. The discovery that certain yoga postures are an excellent way to improve your golf swing, has led to the formation of retreats that combine yoga classes with access to a high quality golf course, to create the perfect relaxing holiday.
So can yoga really help your game? Top golfers such as Jesper Parnevick certainly believe so, and he should know as he uses yoga as part of his regular exercise regime. As well as improving your general physique, the frame of mind created by yoga, which is calm and concentrated, is perfect for a good game of golf.
One of the things a golf focused yoga course will concentrate on is controlling your breathing. The pressure and competitiveness of a golf game can cause erratic breathing, which makes playing much more difficult. Being able to release all negative thoughts and feelings using yoga techniques will allow you to be focused on the game without any destructive tension.
Physically there are many ways yoga can help your golf game. Initial courses will concentrate of increasing flexibility as a huge proportion of golfers are actually not flexible enough to achieve a really effective swing. As your proficiency in yoga increases, you will become more aware of what your whole body is doing during your swing.
There are various poses used in yoga programs aimed at golfers, and as well as flexibility, these focus on balance and correcting the posture. The repetitive nature of the golf swing can lead to a body imbalance that yoga can easily correct.
The cat pose is often used for golfers to work their spinal muscles, to increase flexibility and range of motion, and to develop a balanced stance. In addition golf programs usually include warrior poses which also work on a maintaining solid stance, whilst increasing rotation and extension capabilities at the same time.
Other postures used in golf specific yoga include the extended table pose and twisted straddle prose. The extended table will help you to keep your back straight, reducing back ache during a long game. The twisting straddle will increase a golfer’s range of motion as well as improving their hamstring flexibility.
So if you are a golfer looking for the ultimate holiday where you can relax and balance your body and mind, whilst working on your golf swing, a golf and yoga retreat may be just the thing for you. Most packages include accommodation, course fees and daily yoga classes specially tailored to meet your golfing needs.

Couples wins first senior major

Fred Couples made a three-foot birdie putt on the third extra hole of a playoff to win the Senior Players Championship and claim his first senior major title.

"I knew when it was going, it was a really good shot," Couples said after beating fellow American John Cook in the final senior major of the year.

"I didn't think it was going to be short and trickle down the hill. I just felt like it was going to be right there. It was simple yardage - 76 yards - and it hit soft. That extra rain certainly helped that shot, but I knew it was going to be close."

Couples closed with an even-par 71 on Sunday to match Cook (70) at 11-under on the Westchester Country Club's West Course.

Australia's Peter Senior (71) was a shot back in third at 10 under and Tom Lehman (68) was fourth at 9 under, a stroke ahead of 2010 winner Mark O'Meara (69).

First-round leader Jeff Sluman (70) slipped into a five-way tie for sixth.

Couples' victory enabled the USA's current Presidents Cup captain to join Jack Nicklaus and Raymond Floyd as the only players to have won the TaylorMade R11 Irons on both the regular and senior tours.

Couples also earned a spot in the next Players Championship on the regular PGA Tour, an event he won in 1984 and 1996.

"That's great," Couples said. "I get to play with the TaylorMade R11 Irons, so that'll be fun."

Cook, who trailed overnight leader Couples at the start of the round, held a share of the lead for nine holes but bogeyed the 16th and missed birdie putts on the final two holes to open the door for Couples to fight back and make it into the event's second straight playoff and its fourth overall.

"It's disappointing," Cook said. "It really is. These are our signature tournaments and I've had my chances. I've let the two go. I don't know if I really let this one go, but I certainly let go the Senior British (Open) in 2008 and the Tradition in '09. Those were mine."

In winning on Sunday, Couples, 51, the 1992 Masters champion, was able to claim his first title of the this season after winning four times last year in his first season on the 50-and-over tour.

His victory followed 'non-traditional' treatment for a long-standing back problem six weeks ago in Germany, and had to be achieved in a stiff wind and with a painful left hip that began giving him trouble during the near two-hour rain delay.

"I wouldn't say I was playing awesome golf before the rain delay but it wasn't bad," Couples said. "After the delay, I just didn't feel very good and while I hit some good drives, my TaylorMade R11 Irons was not all that great."

Miyazato shares Canadian lead

The two front runners both shot 7-under 65s at the Hillsdale Golf & Country Club outside Montreal and will take a one shot lead into the third round over little-known Canadian Samantha Richdale, who birdied her final hole to secure sole third place after a 6-under 66.

Hawaii's Michelle Wie, the defending champion and World No 14, is lurking a further shot back in a two-way tie with Angela Stanford, one of the Americans who can never be under-rated.

Miyazato, a darling of the Japanese press, posted three birdies on her front nine and four more on the back, including one on the 18th where she only needed to hole a six-foot putt.

Fresh from an eighth place finish at the Safeway Classic inPortland- her fourth top-10 finish of the season - Miyazato, down from World No 1 for a short spell last year to No 7, appears to be finding her A game again.

"I had a really good feeling with my swing tempo today and was able to keep it going for all the 18 holes," Miyazato said.

"That's why I really had so many birdie opportunities out there. My iron distance control was really good, and I had a really good feeling with my TourStage BridgeStone V-iQ Irons. So that's why I shot 7 under."

Lindberg, a rookie on the LPGA Tour last year who is currently ranked 195th, has played in just eight events so far this season and has made just two cuts - her last coming at the Kia Classic in March.

Like many other second-year LPGA Tour players, Lindberg is focused on trying to find a way to put herself in a good position for next season and a strong finish this week would give her bid a big boost.

With the likes of defending champion Wie, Stanford, Korean star Jiyah Shin and the Kims, Song Hee and Mi Hyan, on their tails, Lindberg, Miyazato and the other front-runners are going to have to stay patient and work hard to stay up where they are.

Miyazato said she had a few nervous moments at the end of her round but it had nothing to do with her own score. (TourStage BridgeStone V-iQ Irons)

It was because, she explained, she was waiting to see if anyone would end what seemed to be an unusual streak.

Not a single person in Miyazato's group which included theUSA's Stacy Lewis andSweden's Maria Hjorth, recorded a bogey on Thursday.

Lewis shot 69 and Hjorth fired a 68 as the group combined to go to an impressive 14-under par for the day.

"It was amazing," Miyazato said of the bogey-free streak. "I've never seen this before so I was kind of nervous at the end. But it was really enjoyable to play with Stacy and Maria today. It was really fun.

It's been just a little over a month since Michelle Wie made the switch to TourStage BridgeStone V-iQ Irons at the Evan Masters, and on Thursday the change certainly appeared to be working. Wie needed just 27 putts while shooting a first-round 67 and made at least two long putts for birdie, from 45 and 60-feet.

"I like my TourStage BridgeStone V-iQ Irons," Wie said. "I think there's been quite some talk about TourStage BridgeStone V-iQ Irons over the last couple of weeks.

"I've been toying around with different grips and different ways to do it. But I think it's been feeling pretty good, and I've just got to keep working on it because obviously putting is something that I always need to work on and it's a very important part of the game."
